BOARDING PROCESS

Passengers and vehicles must arrive at the port of embarkation for the required check-in at least 1 hour before scheduled departure.

TICKET TRANSFER

The ticket is strictly personal. It is not transferable to another person and it is valid only for the class and the final decision for which it has been issued.

CAUTION

1) After departure, the tickets cannot be changed or converted to open date tickets and it is not possible to make any change to the date of journey.

2) Tickets that have already been converted to open date, can be canceled with a penalty of 50% of their value.

3) Tickets can be canceled only by the company "GEORGIOS and IOANNA ATHANASOPOULOU CO. (ZYGOS TRAVEL), hereinafter referred to as the "Company". Tickets can not be canceled by phone and the holders should deliver them or send them to the "company".

SEATICKETS DOES NOT CHARGE SERVICE FEES FOR THE CHANGE OF THE TICKETS

If we have sent you the tickets, you will have to send them back to us. The new tickets will either be sent to you again - if you pay the mail cost again - or we can arrange for you to pick them up at the port of departure, the day of departure at no extra charge (provided always that the shipping company supports prepaid/electronic ticket).



LOST OF TICKET

If you lose your ticket, please:

1) Make it known to the "company" in a written form (GEORGIOS AND IOANNA ATHANASOPOULOU CO. - ZYGOS TRAVEL)

2) In order to travel you need to buy new tickets. Provided that until the end of the year, the shipping company will confirm that the ticket not used, you have the right to get a refund of the ticket or to get a new ticket of equal value. In any case, this depends on the decision of the shipping company.

LATE OF DEPARTURE

Our company is not responsible for any delay in ship departure, deviation or change of the planned itinerary due to bad weather, mandate of the Greek Ministry of Sea Affairs or of the Port Authorities or due to force majeure, which may endanger the safety of the passengers.

In case of cancellation of the planned itinerary due to force majeure (eg bad weather, storm, natural disaster) or for reasons relating to the shipping company, the passengers are entitled to full reimbursement from the shipping company. In these cases, the "company" (GEORGIOS AND IOANNA ATHANASOPOULOU CO. - ZYGOS TRAVEL), has no responsibility and no further obligation. The shipping companies have the right to a ship replacement, in agreement with the Greek Ministry of Sea Affairs.

LIST OF PASSENGERS

According to the EU Directive 98/41/EK of the Council, the Presidential Decree 23/1999 of the Greek State and the International Convention SOLAS, in order to make a reservation, passengers are obliged they to inform the shipping company for the following items, because the latter should hold a list of passengers for each trip, for safety reasons. Therefore, tickets are issued in the name of each passenger and certainly include:

NAME AND SURNAME OF THE PASSENGER

SEX: MALE / FEMALE

AGE: ADULT - CHILDREN - INFANT

CIRCULATION NUMBER AND TYPE OF VEHICLE

In addition, the shipping company should be informed, for passengers with disabilities at the time of ticket issue. Moreover, issuing a ticket when boarding is strictly prohibited.

FARES / DISCOUNTS

The fares include passenger transport in the selected class and all port charges (only on domestic lines). Meals and drinks are not included. In case of further discounts, only the highest in rate discount is given to the passenger. Passengers that are entitled to a discount, are requested to declare it when booking and to provide all necessary evidence, both in issuing the ticket, and when boarding the ship.

After issuing the ticket it is not possible to refund money for any disputes that may arise. Groups, trucks, buses, trailers, and unaccompanied trailers are subject to special agreements (info@seatickets.gr). Children under 5 years old (infants) travel free of charge ONLY in economic class but not to the high speed ferries. In the classes (eg cabins) are entitled to a 50% discount (child fare). Also, they travel for free to all classes in high speed ferries. Children aged 5-10 years receive 50% discount to the standard fare in all classes in all type of ferries. Student discount is given only to students of Greek public universities.

SAFETY AT SEA

The shipping companies are not responsible for accidents, losses or damage occurring prior to boarding and loading and after unloading. It is strictly forbidden for passengers to carry weapons, explosives, flammable materials and other hazardous substances at sea. In accordance with the Greek and the European legislation and regulations for safety in high-speed ferries, passengers are not allowed to remain in the open spaces of the high speed ferries throughout the journey.

LUGGAGE

The luggage of passengers may remain in their vehicles. Passengers are requested to bring with them their personal items that may need during the trip. Access to the garage of the ferry during the voyage, is prohibited. The shipping companies are not responsible for loss of money or valuables from cars, luggage, common areas of the ship or cabins. Passengers can deliver their money and valuables in the reception of the ships, so as to be safe.

PETS
Pets travel for free. Also, pets are not allowed in inside public areas and cabins. Their owners are responsible for feeding and hygiene, while at the same time, are required to have their pet's health book.

GENERAL OBLIGATIONS OF THE PASSENGERS

Passengers must comply with the relevant Port, Health and Customs regulations. Furthermore, they must comply with the instructions of the captain and the crew regarding the order and security at sea. Moreover, passengers must inform the captain or the crew for any problems that may arise at sea. For complaints and suggestions they may also contact the customer service of the "company" (GEORGIOS AND IOANNA ATHANASOPOULOU CO. - ZYGOS TRAVEL), in info@seatickets.gr, after the end the trip.

CANCELLATION OF TICKETS

Tickets can only be cancelled from the offices of the "company" (GEORGIOS AND IOANNA ATHANASOPOULOU CO. - ZYGOS TRAVEL) or form the head offices of each shipping company.

TICKET CANCELATION:

- Cancellation within 24 hrs of issuance .Tickets issued on the same day of departure can only be cancelled 30/after the issuance & necessarily two hours before departure .Demands for cancellation of unprinted tickets is not accepted because such tickets should be cancelled instantly by you.

For the period 15/6/10 - 5/9/10 up to 4 hrs prior to departure.

Tickets made open can be replaced up to one year after their issuance date, and only once.
In order to cancel or to turn to open tickets which have been issued through the internet, a written notice via e-mail or fax is required.

TICKET CANCELLATION

Passengers holding specific-date tickets and wishing to cancel them or postpone their travel must notify the agents or the company accordingly:

For ticket cancelled up to 15 days prior to the ship's departure, you receive a full (100%) refund on your ticket.

For tickets issued on international routes, and cancelled 15 to 2 days prior to the ship's departure you receive an 80% refund.

Up to 24 hours prior to the ship's departure you receive a 50% refund.

For ticket cancellations made 24 or fewer hours prior to the ship's departure our company is under no obligation to refund your tickets fully or partially. For any refunds that you may be entitled to, please contact the agency that issued the tickets.

OPEN-ENDED TICKETS

Passengers holding open-ended tickets must ensure that they book passage well ahead of time. The company cannot be held responsible for unavailability of seating. If the fare paid on the open-ended tickets is lower than the fare applying for the period during which the passengers are travelling, passengers are required to pay the difference in fare at the port agency.

- Full refund from the date of issue until 48 hours before departure.

- Cancellation 50% from 48 to 24 hours before departure.

- No refund 24 hours prior to departure.

CHANGES-CANCELLATIONS

Tickets may be cancelled or changed at the competent port offices and head ticket offices of ANEK LINES. For cancellations the following percentage of the fare is refunded (depending on the time of the cancellation prior to the departure):
Up to 30 days before : 100% of the fare
Up to 7 days before : 80% of the fare
Up to 24 hours before : 50% of the fare
24 hours before departure or in the event that the passenger does not show up on boarding, ANEK LINES is under no obligation to issue a refund. Refunds are issued only by the issuing ticket office upon the company's approval.

OPEN TICKETS

Open tickets are valid for one year from the date of issue. The return fare is at all times calculated based on the low season fare. In the event that the passenger wishes to travel (return) in the middle or high season, he/she must purchase a supplement ticket covering the difference in cost. In case that the current ticket prices are modified during the validity period of the open ticket, passengers have to pay the difference in price. Passengers with open tickets must make their reservation in due time, otherwise the company shall not be held liable if a specific class seat requested is not available. Owners of unused open tickets are entitled to fare refund only by the issuing ticket office and not from any other office. In case a passenger will change the state of an already purchased ticket to open and never use this ticket, cancellation fees are applied (see details under the Changes-Cancellations section).

CANCELLATION FEES

HIGH SEASON: 26/03/10-11/04/10 & 11/06/10-19/09/10

7 days prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.

From 7 days and up to 4 hours prior to departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.

4 hours prior and up to the departure: 50% cancellation fees must be paid.

After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.

For the period 26/03/10-03/04/10 & 20/05/10-22/05/10 for all departures from Piraeus or Rafina and for the period 04/04/10-11/04/10 & 24/05/10-25/05/10 for all departures to Piraeus or Rafina, tickets are cancelled without charge or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date, 14 days prior to departure.
LOW SEASON: All other dates except those mentioned in HIGH SEASON

3 days prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets.

From 3 days and up to 1 hour prior to departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date

1 hour prior and up to the departure: 50% cancellation fees must be paid.

After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.

OPEN DATE TICKETS:

Open date tickets are cancelled without charge when they have been originally issued as open date. If they have been converted to open date, a 50% cancellation fee applies.

* Cyclades Fast Ferries

CANCELLATION OF TICKETS AND RETURN OF FREIGHT

From the date of issue of the ticket until 8 days before the scheduled time of departure: Tickets can be cancelled without cancellation penalties if the whole body of the ticket is returned or they can be converted to open date tickets. From 7 days up until the scheduled time of departure: Tickets can be cancelled with a cancellation penalty of 50% as long as the whole body of the ticket is returned or alternatively, they can be converted to open date tickets.

After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled, cannot be converted to open date, and no change of date is possible. Tickets can only be cancelled by the travel agents by which they were issued; they cannot be cancelled by phone. Persons wishing to cancel a ticket must deliver it to the agency that has issued it.

OPEN DATE TICKETS

Open date tickets are valid for 1 year and such tickets are not accepted for boarding. It is necessary that the initial ticket be replaced with a new ticket before boarding. If, until the date of travel, the freight has been increased, owners of such tickets must pay the difference.

Dodekanissos Seaways

- 50% of the full ticket from 7 days to 12 hours before departure.

- 100% of the full ticket, irrespective of the time of notice if there are reasons of force majeure. It is valid for ticket that has not been changed, within 14 days prior to departure.

- The passenger is entitled to change the ticket up to 24 hours before departure.

- Since the price of the ticket is lower, the passenger is not entitled to a refund.

- In case of prohibitive due to bad weather, the passenger is entitled:

- To change the ticket.

- 100% refund of the fare. (The reservations are refunded to the passenger)

- The passenger is requested:

- To be at the port 30 minutes before departure and 1 hour before departure, if he has a vehicle.

- To give accurate information (name - phone number) for the sole purpose of being informed in case of modification of the itinerary.

- In case the passenger does not wish, it is recorded.

- To check during the issue of the ticket, the correctness of the hours and days of departure and not to receive it, in case of wrong recording of the data.

* Hellenic Seaways

TICKETS CANCELLATION

Up to 14 days before departure date: 100% refund on tickets value.

Up to 7 days before departure date: 75% refund on tickets value.

Up to 12 hours before departure date: 50% refund on tickets value.

Cancellations made in less than 12 hours before departure are not entitled to a refund. Alternatively:
There is a choice of changing the tickets into Open Dated tickets in order for them to be used for another trip.

HIGH SEASON: from 21/05/2010 until 24/05/2010 and from 18/06/2010 until 06/09/2010
up to 6 hours before departure, valid for the HIGHSPEED VESSELS HS1-HS4-HS5-HS6-FC3-FC4
up to 4 hours before departure, valid for the vessels NISSOS MYKONOS & NISSOS CHIOS
up to 2 hours before departure, valid for the itineraries within the Saronic and Sporades islands (the Highspeed vessels serving the itinerary Piraeus-Aegina-Agkistri-Piraeus and the Conventional vessels serving the Saronic are excluded as tickets can be changed to Open-Date tickets up to the time of departure).

LOW SEASON: Periods not mentioned above

up to 2 hours before departure, valid for the HIGHSPEED VESSELS HS1-HS4-HS5-HS6-FC3-FC4 (every Friday-Saturday-Sunday)

Before departure, valid for the vessels NISSOS MYKONOS & NISSOS CHIOS
Before departure, valid for the itineraries within the Saronic and Sporades islands.

The Open Date tickets are replaced by a new ticket, of the same or bigger value, by paying the difference, upon availability for the same or different trip. For this new ticket all the above cancelation terms are not valid and any difference in price is not refunded. Please not that the new ticket cannot be issued with any discount if the initial ticket did not have a discount and vehicle tickets can be replaced by passenger tickets and vice versa.

Open tickets (may be replaced) are valid until the end of the year that the initial ticket had been issued for.

Hellas Speed Cat

Up to three days before departure, 100% of the fare is refunded.

In case of cancellation, from 3 days and on, only 50% is refunded.

* Ionian Ferries

High Season 04/04/2010 to 04/23/2010 & 06/13/2010 to 09/20/2010:

1) The tickets are cancelled without charge or converted to open date, at least 7 days before departure.

2) Seven (7) days prior to departure and up, tickets are cancelled with a charge of 50% of their value or change to open date tickets (at least 4 hours before departure).


Low season:

1) The tickets can be cancelled without a charge or can be converted to open date tickets, at least 3 days prior to departure.

2) Three (3) days prior to departure and up to departure time, tickets can be cancelled with a charge of 50% of their value or can be changed in open date tickets (at least 2 hours before departure).


CAUTION
After departure, the tickets cannot be changed, or converted to open date tickets.

Tickets that have already been converted to open date tickets, can be cancelled with a charge of 50% of their value.

Tickets can only be cancelled from the offices of the "company" (GEORGIOS AND IOANNA ATHANASOPOULOU Co. - ZYGOS TRAVEL). Tickets can not be cancelled by phone and their holders should send them to the offices of the 'company'.
4) Open date tickets, are valid for 12 months.

* Lane Lines

3) - Full refund from the date of issue until 30 days before departure.

4) - Cancellation charge 20% of the ticket value, from 29 to 7 days before departure.

5) - Cancellation charge 50% of the ticket value, from 6 days to 24 hours prior to departure.

6) - No refund 24 hours prior to departure.

* Minoan Lines

Cancellations

DOMESTIC LINES

  • From the date of the ticket issue and up to 14 days before the scheduled departure, the fare of the ticket is fully refundable.
  • From 13 days up to 7 days before the scheduled departure: 75% refund.
  • From 6 days up to 12 hours before the scheduled departure: 50% refund.

ADRIATIC LINES

  • From the date of the ticket issue and up to 30 days before the scheduled departure, the fare of the ticket is fully refundable.
  • From 29 days up to 7 days before the scheduled departure: 75% refund.
  • From 6 days up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure: 50% refund.
  • On the day of the scheduled departure: the fare is not refunded.
  • Tickets can be refunded only by the issuing agency.

* Nel Lines

If the passenger does not intend to travel, and declares so 2 days before departure, there will be a 100% refund. Up to 3 hours before departure the ticket may be changed to "open". "Open" tickets are valid for one year. Management may extend the life of an "open" ticket at will.

* Sea Jet

1) All tickets are cancelled without charge up to 3 days before departure date.

2) Three (3) days to 24 hours before departure the tickets can be cancelled with a charge of 50% of their value, or to be converted to open date tickets.

3) 24 hours before departure, they cannot be converted to open date tickets. It is only possible to be cancelled with a charge of 50% of their value.

* Superfast Ferries

Cancellations – Refunds

Cancellations can be made at the Travel Agency, Port Agency, Premium Sales Agent or at the offices of the Company where reservation and payment were made.

Depending on the time of cancellation the following amounts are refunded:

- A 100% refund, up to 14 days prior to departure.

- A 50% refund, from 13 days to 24 hours prior to departure. Alternatively, clients can make their ticket OPEN with validity for one year from the date of issuance.

- The Company has no obligation to refund 24 hours prior to ship's departure or if the passenger does not report at check-in. Passengers have the right to make their ticket

OPEN with validity for one year from the date of issuance.

- In the event of a partial cancellation of a round trip of which the one crossing has been completed, the passenger will be charged a one way fare and will be refunded as above for the balance of the round trip fare.

- In the event of a whole cancellation of a round trip, the passenger will be refunded as above (based on the time of cancellation).

In cases of cancelation of a return ticket the aforementioned terms are in full force. A request for refund must be made in writing and the actual refund may take place in a three month period after the date of travel. Cancellations and refunds can only be settled through the Travel Agency or offices of the Company where reservation and payment were place. Port Agencies may cancel a reservation once check-in is finalised but not refund money. The Company is entitled to retain the total value of ticket if the passenger interrupts his voyage at an intermediate port, unless the interruption is due to illness, accident or force majeure.

Open Return

Passengers with open return ticket must reserve their return journey through the Travel Agency, Premium Sales Agent, Port Agent or the offices of the Company, where reservation and payment were made, well in advance. Return fares are always calculated on the basis of the low season fare. In the event that a passenger travels in shoulder or high season or during a period in which a new tariff is in force, then the difference between the current and the pre-paid fare has to be paid by the passenger.

During high season, the Company cannot guarantee the reservation of the passengers on their desired travel dates.

* Strintzis Ferries

Open date tickets for the inbound stretch(Open): Passengers who possess such tickets must secure their place in time, especially during peak seasons. Cancellations of passenger / vehicle tickets:

In the case that a ticket is cancelled within a period of seven (7) days to twelve (12) hours prior to the vessel's scheduled date and time of departure, a refund of 75% on the fare is granted. From twelve (12) hours up to departure a refund of 50% on the fare is granted. Alternatively, the passenger is given the possibility to convert these tickets into Open Date (Open) in order to use them on a future trip, provided that the request has been made up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to departure.

* Ventouris Ferries

4) • Full refund from the date of issue until 30 days before departure.

5) • Refund of 80% from 30 days to 48 hours prior to departure.

6) • Refund of 50% from 48 to 24 hours before departure.

• Less than 24 hours before departure, VENTOURIS FERRIES has no obligation to refund.

* Ventouris Sea Lines

TICKET CANCELLATION AND FARE REFUNDS

Passengers are refunded with 100% of the fare value in the following cases:

(A) For tickets cancelled up to 14 days prior to scheduled departure.

(B) For tickets cancelled on the date of issue, save for any tickets issued on the date of departure, for which passengers are refunded with 100% of the ticket value for one hour after departure and with 50% thereafter.

75% refund applies in the following cases:

For tickets cancelled up to 7 days prior to scheduled departure.

50% refund applies in the following cases:

(A) For tickets cancelled up to 12 hours prior to scheduled departure.

(B) For cancellation of any tickets already replaced, up to 12 hours prior to scheduled departure.

In all cases of ticket cancellation set out above, it is essential that passengers demonstrate the actual ticket slips. After departure, tickets cannot be cancelled or converted into open tickets.


OPEN TICKETS

Regular tickets can be converted into open tickets no later than 2 hours prior to scheduled departure. Tickets are valid for one year from the date of issue and can only be replaced once. Any passengers presenting open tickets shall not be admitted for boarding. Therefore, open tickets must be essentially replaced by regular tickets prior to boarding. In the event that the fare increases until the date of travel, the holders of open tickets are liable to pay the difference in fare.

* Zante Ferries

High Season 04/04/2010 to 04/26/2010, 06/06/2010 to 09/06/2010 & 07/01/2010 to 08/31/2010:

1) The tickets are cancelled without charge or converted to open date tickets, at least 7 days before departure.

2) From Seven (7) days prior to departure and up to departure time, tickets can be cancelled with a charge of 50% of their value, or can be converted to open date tickets (at least 4 hours before departure).

Low season:

1) The tickets can be cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets, at least 3 days prior to departure.

2) Three (3) days prior to departure and up to departure time, tickets can be cancelled with a charge of 50% of their value or can be changed to open date tickets (at least 2 hours before departure).
